New Web Search Interface Now Available!
Experts at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) have completed a powerful Web Search Interface for the SIRIC database. GSLIS has previously prepared search interfaces for the Illinois Researcher Information Service (IRIS) database of funding opportunities, and the American Bibliography of Slavic and East European Studies (ABSEES) database.
New Database Records Now Being AddedCurrently, the database portion made available via this Web site includes the records that existed in the database as of the end of 1990, as well as new database records, most covering the years 1988 to the present, which are being added weekly as we complete the process of reading and indexing them.
Thesaurus and Indexing Now AvailableThe SIRIC Thesaurus and Indexing (subject headings assigned to each record to reflect its content) are now available. Be sure to take advantage of the extra search power the Thesaurus and Indexing provide.
